Before you install
What should I do if macOS says the app cannot be opened or is damaged?
Move XiaDown.app to Applications, then run sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/XiaDown.app in Terminal and open it again.
What should I do if Windows SmartScreen appears?
If the installer came from this site or GitHub Releases, choose “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
Why does first launch install dependencies?
XiaDown uses YT-DLP, FFMPEG, and BUN for downloads, transcoding, and runtime tasks. The onboarding flow helps install or repair them.
